Jane Lynch Talks Her "Freakin Weird" Glee Wedding
Actually, that's about all she says about it. Mum is the word in Gleekville about these nuptials!
While at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center's 39th Anniversary Gala last night, Jane Lynch was asked a few questions about her Glee character, Sue Sylvester's, upcoming wedding on the show. She explained that had no intention of tell [...]
You may recall that Sugarland used to be a trio, rather than a duo. The band had a third member, once upon a time, but she left to go pursue her own career.
That's about the time that the band BLEW UP and made household country names of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush. As you can imagine, their former third piece of Sugar, Kristen Hall, didn't like that so much and filed a lawsuit agains them to get her hands on their profits. Her defense - she helped found the band, she was entitled. Her asking price - $14 million!
Wowza! Someone's a little greedy!
Well, today the feud is over as sources report that the band has settled with Kristen finally. The terms of the deal are unknown, but hopefully, Kristen didn't get anywhere near her asking price. That's just plain ludicrous for doing absolutely nothing!

Homophobe Carl Paladino, Landlord To Gay Clubs In New York
Well, isn't this an interesting turn of events!
New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino, who has come under fire this past week due to his homophobic remarks to the press, has just been uncovered as the building owner of two gay clubs in Buffalo. State liquor license records show that Carl even collected rent from [...]
Adam Lambert has decided to tone it down.
….Not for good, don't worry.
Fellow singer Lance Bass thinks it is a good idea as well.
Before Lambert performs in Malaysia, the government has set rules that he needed to calm down his flamboyant act. Bass said that he thinks it is only fair to follow the rules of another country.
Lambert has agreed to restrictions against stripping, jumping, and kissing on stage and said that he is doing it out of respect.
Bass, being openly gay himself, is a supporter of Lambert. He gave his performance last year at the American Music Awards, when he kissed another man, two thumbs up.
Bass said that in America you can do anything, and kiss whoever you want, but when going into another country you have to be aware of their beliefs even if you don't believe in them yourself!
Thanks for your thoughts Lance!

Well, isn't this an interesting turn of events!
New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino, who has come under fire this past week due to his homophobic remarks to the press, has just been uncovered as the building owner of two gay clubs in Buffalo. State liquor license records show that Carl even collected rent from the clubs once and that his son, William, actually ran one of the joints in 2004 and most of 2005.
Another piece of the puzzle.
Either Carl leaked this information himself to show some allegiance or he's a pretty hefty hypocrite.
Or both. We remain skeptical.
Thoughts?

Portman For Alien Prequel!?
The rumor mill is pumping a lot out about Ridley Scott's prequel to Alien and the latest is that Natalie Portman is the studio's main choice for the lead role.
Sources say that unlike the later films in the franchise, the prequel would be a horror-suspense piece, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

First Look: Eric Stoltz As Marty McFly In ‘Back To The Future’
Earlier today we learned the surprising news that married couple Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman have been separated for some time now and I guessed that one or both of the would be issuing an official statement on the matter sometime today. And right on cue, here is the very short official statement from Xtina herself:
“Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”
I’m hearing that there is nothing legal about this split … no papers have been filed, no lawyers are involved … there is just trouble in paradise and Xtina and Jordy have decided to spend some time apart to try and see if they can work out their personal problems. I suppose we won’t be hearing anything new officially until either A.) the couple decides to get back together or B.) they decide to formally end their marriage. OY! I guess what they say is true, breaking up is hard to do.

American Idol alum Kimberley Locke, sax man Dave Koz and The Bold and the Beautiful star (and sometime singer) Ron Moss were joined by other performers at the Kodak Theater at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, CA last night to perform a special concert at an Xmas tree lighting ceremony … here are a few photos:
Thanksgiving isn’t even over yet for the rest of us but it’s already Xmas time at Hollywood & Highland. I really love that my homeboy Dave Koz was on hand to perform at last night’s event … and despite the fact that I’m not a fan of Ron Moss‘s music, I can’t help but love that Ridge Forrester from The Bold and the Beautiful was in the hiz performing last night. So, yeah, I guess it’s official … Xmas is here already. Ho Ho Ho and all that jazz.

Wow, this is a little ridic!
Representative Dennis Kucinich, Democrat of Ohio, is throwing a legal fit over an olive pit.
The Congressman has sued a Congressional cafeteria for dental damage he says he suffered after biting into an olive pit in a sandwich wrap and is seeking $150,000 in damages!
Sounds like a real tragedy. Ha!
The lawsuit says the wrap he bought in April 2008 “contained dangerous substances, namely an olive pit” that a consumer would not reasonably expect to find in the wrap.
Apparently Dennis the Menace Kucinich suffered “serious and permanent” injuries requiring multiple surgical and dental procedures.
Aww, poor baby!
We're very interested to know EXACTLY what kind of damage these "dangerous substances" did to his mouth.

Very sad news to pass along today … actress Barbara Billingsley, the woman who played the iconic TV mother June Cleaver in the 1950′s on the wildly successful TV series Leave It To Beaver, passed away of an undisclosed illness at the age of 94 in her home in Santa Monica, CA early yesterday morning. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone in America over the age of 20 who doesn’t know and love the character of June Cleaver … she was the perfect mom … and she will be missed:
Barbara Billingsley, who wore a classy pearl necklace and dispensed pearls of wisdom as America’s quintessential mom on “Leave it to Beaver,” has died at age 94, a family spokeswoman said Saturday. The actress passed away at 2 a.m. (5 a.m. ET) Saturday at her home in Santa Monica, California, after a long illness, spokeswoman Judy Twersky said. A private memorial is being planned. Actor Jerry Mathers, who played Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver, called Billingsley a lifetime mentor. “Barbara was a patient advisor and teacher. She helped me along this challenging journey through life by showing me the importance of manners, and respect for others,” Mathers said in a statement. “She will be missed by all of her family, friends, fans and most especially by me.” Tony Dow, who played Beaver’s brother, Wally Cleaver, also reflected on Billingsley’s legacy. “She was as happy as a lark being recognized as America’s mom,” Dow told CNN’s Don Lemon. “She had a terrific life and had a wonderful impact on everybody she knew, and even people she didn’t know.” The actress won a new legion of fans in a brief, but memorable, scene in the 1980 send-up movie “Airplane.” “Oh, stewardess. I speak jive,” Billingsley said in her role — much different from her June Cleaver persona — as an elderly passenger comforting an ill man on the flight. She, the sick man and his seat companion engaged in street-slang banter. From the moment its catchy theme song sounded in black-and-white TV sets of the 1950s, “Leave it to Beaver” enthralled Americans during a time of relative prosperity and world peace. Its characters represented middle-class white America. June Cleaver dutifully pecked the cheek of her husband, Ward (played by the late Hugh Beaumont), when he came home to learn about the latest foibles — nothing serious — committed by Beaver and Wally. “Ward, I’m very worried about the Beaver,” was a common refrain. The parents would dispense moralistic advice to their sons. The boys’ friends included Lumpy and the obsequious Eddie Haskell, who avoided trouble and often buttered up Ward and June. “That’s a lovely dress you’re wearing, Mrs. Cleaver,” Eddie would typically say to Billingsley’s character. Perhaps fittingly, “Leave it to Beaver” was canceled in 1963 on the eve of the JFK assassination, the Vietnam War and the tumult of the 1960s … Asked once to compare real-life families to TV families, Billingsley responded, “I just wish that we could have more families like those. Family is so important, and I just don’t think we have enough people staying home with their babies and their children.”
Leave It To Beaver is one of those classic TV shows that leaves an indelible mark on those who are familiar with it … yes, the show painted am image of the perfect American family (which cynics can easily dismiss as pure fantasy) but there is something about the wholesomeness of the show that makes it so endearing. In the stable of classic TV moms, I’d argue that June Cleaver is among the most iconic … all due to the talent of Ms. Barbara Billingsley. In the 1980 film Airplane, Billingsley pretty much shocked everyone with her comedic portrayal of a white woman who could speak jive, proving that she was capable of entertaining more than one kind of audience. I’m sorry to hear that she suffered from a “long illness” but if there is any comfort that can be taken from this sad news, it’s that 94 is not a bad age to pass away. Barbara Billingsley will live in the hearts and minds of TV fans for all time … may she rest well in eternal peace.
