'Glee'-Cap: Secrets Come Out During 'Duets'
This week's musical tribute has us seeing double!
By Jim Cantiello

This week's "Glee" once again pitted the gleeks against each other — and paired them up — as they performed duets and competed for a gift certificate at Breadsticks. That amazing restaurant hasn't made its way to Times Square yet, but Jim got into the spirit anyway and recruited a very special partner for this week's "Glee"-cap. Sing along!
"When you're different, when you're special, sometimes you have to get used to being alone." — Kurt Hummel
Jim 1: Duets
Jim 2: Duets
Jim 1: Secrets
Jim 2: Duets
Jim 1: Don't fret.
Jim 2: Don't you fret.
Jim 1: I won't forget
Jim 2: We won't forget
Together: To recap "Glee."
Jim 1: This week Mr. Schue assigned they split off into doubles.
Jim 2: Bribed 'em with free dinner so there's drama for the couples.
Jim 1: Mike and Tina having issues, they almost nearly split.
Jim 2: In the end it wasn't them who won the gift certificate.
Jim 2: [Spoken] The new guy and Quinn win!
Jim 1: [Spoken] Shh! Spoiler alert!
Jim 2: Kurt is feeling lonely, needs a boyfriend really bad,
Jim 1: Wants to duet with the new guy,
Jim 2: "But he's not gay,"
Jim 1: ... says Kurt's dad,
Jim 2: So instead a solo "Victor/Victoria" is what Kurt sings.
Jim 1: But, "Glee," sexuality and gender are two different things.
[Jims sing together]
Duets bring out everybody's worst,
Animosity in bursts,
They fiend for breadsticks and go nuts!
There's scheming
Cheerleaders hooking up,
Two girls without a cup.
They're not lesbians, just sluts!
Jim 2: It was a night that Artie won't forget too soon.
Jim 1: Brittany carried him, then mounted him and took him to the moon.
Jim 2: But when he found out she was using him just for his voice,
Jim 1: Artie pulled out of the duet tête-à-tête by choice.
Jim 2: [Spoken] If only he pulled out the night before.
Jim 1: [Spoken] Ha! Now that's funny.
Jim 2: [Spoken] Thanks!
Jim 1: So the new guy's getting Slushied everywhere he tries to go.
Jim 2: Finn and Rachel throw their chances so he doesn't quit the show.
Jim 1: New guy teaches Quinn how to play guitar and rock out,
Jim 2: But she freaks when he goes in to get some action with his co-- out.
[Jims sing together]
Secrets
Haunt the new guy every day,
But it isn't that he's gay,
Just that he tried to dye his hair.
He showers
More than anyone I know,
But if I had his torso
I'd also always be that bare.
[Spoken]
Jim 2: Jim?
Jim 1: Yes, Jim!
Jim 2: Here's something I'm pondering. His hair color's a lie, but shouldn't somebody have spied that the carpet and the drapes don't exactly jive?
Jim 1: You're embarrassing me.
Jim 2: You're embarrassing me.
[Jims sing together]
And that was "Glee!"

Demos from Lady Gaga's early days will be up for bid in a new online auction, alongside handwritten lyrics, clothing and various ephemera from the likes of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Bob Dylan and Michael Jackson.
It's all part of an expansive collection going under the gavel as the Rock & Roll Pop Culture Auction, starting on Wednesday at GottaHaveRockAndRoll.com. And for Gaga completists, there's plenty to get excited about.
In total, six CDs of early recordings will be up for auction, including a pair of demo discs from her first days as Lady Gaga. One, from 2006 and complete with a handwritten track listing, features six songs ("Wonderful," "Retrosexual," "Rock Show," "Spin You Around," "Yay Ha" and "Oh Well") and was donated by her then-manager Bob Leone. The second disc, also from '06, is a single version of the song "Wonderful."
The four other albums in the auction feature music recorded by Gaga when she was still going by her real name, Stefani Germanotta, and include a CDR (labeled "Stefani Germanotta, 2001") with four songs, and three albums: Stefani, Red And Blue; Stefani Germanotta; and Words, which is credited to the "Stefani Germanotta Band." A performance DVD, shot at the Cutting Room in New York, is also up for bid.
Bidding on all six CDs will start at $1,000. Two autographed items — an 11-by-14 photograph and a copy of Gaga's The Fame album — are also up for auction, with opening bids starting at $100. That's a pretty good deal, especially considering that bidding on a life-size Arnold Schwarzenegger-autographed T-800 prop from "T2: Judgment Day" begins at $79,000. And Arnie has never even had a hit record.
Will you check out the Rock & Roll Pop Culture Auction featuring rare Lady Gaga items? Tell us in the comments.

Looking sleek and sexy, the former "Melrose Place" actress donned a cute leopard print jacket with a brimmed hat sitting atop her blonde pixie cut.
The outing comes as Miss Simpson flew into the Big Apple from Los Angeles with her growing son Bronx the previous day.
As for her new haircut, Ashlee's hubby Pete Wentz broke the news via Twitter, as he wrote last evening, "Yah fam headed out tonight stoked! Cute hair mama!"

'Jersey Shore' Cast's 'Dancing With The Stars' Jokes 'Disappoint' The Situation
'My castmates didn't think I was going to get past the first round,' Sitch tells MTV News.

Families bicker, make up, then bicker some more. The clan from "Jersey Shore" is no different.
The cast has taken pleasure the past few weeks in playfully dissing Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who's been jumping and jiving on "Dancing With the Stars." "Mike has legs, so does a chair — it doesn't mean the chair can dance, right?" Ronnie joked to MTV News.
Yet for all their smack talk, they all support the Situation at the end of the day. But Sitch just wishes they'd ramp up the encouragement and tamp down on the insults.
"I'm glad that they are supporting me, because I would do the same," he told us, adding, "I'm a little disappointed in their response. But at the same time, I'm a positive person, and that would never get me down. At the end of the day, I have to practice, practice, practice, and I have to get down my dance enough to move on to the next round."
Whether Mike will, in fact, move on to the next round after a rather awkward take on the Argentine tango Monday remains to be seen. Yet he's proud of how far he's come and is skeptical that his "Shore" roomies could do any better.
"At one particular point, I remember my castmates didn't think I was going to get past the first round," he said. "Now it's already the fourth round, and I've already proved wrong the people that didn't support me. If they're not supporting me and saying the dances aren't the best, that's obviously a little disappointing, but I'm going out there and trying. The fans are seeing that.
"I would love to see them go out there and even attempt — even attempt — to put on a dancing shoe," he continued.
Are you rooting for the Situation on "Dancing With the Stars"? Let us know in the comments!
Don't miss "Jersey Shore" every Thursday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Before this weekend, M. Night Shyamalan had never been to a comic conference of any kind. But luckily for fans of the "Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" director, he made an exception for New York Comic Con 2010, where he turned out for an hour-long panel moderated by MTV's own Josh Horowitz. The panel was not to discuss the auteur's most recent cinematic endeavor, "The Last Airbender," however; instead, Night was on hand to reminisce about "Unbreakable," which -- believe it or not -- celebrates its 10-year anniversary this November.
Initially met with box office and critical disdain when it was released in 2000, Shyamalan's tale of a security guard (Bruce Willis) who discovers that he's a real-life comic-book hero, has come to be regarded as one of the finest superhero films ever put to celluloid.
During an illuminating panel discussion in the Javits Center's packed theater, Night talked about why he hasn't made "Unbreakable 2" (he said he felt like "a failure" after the film's icy reception), showed the audience never-before-seen story boards, and walked the crowd through his creative process.
It was like a session of Filmmaking 101, but with lots of funny anecdotes and some equally hilarious fan questions (this "Sixth Sense" query was our personal fave: "Why was he dead the whole time? It made me so mad.")
Shyamalan remained candid after the panel, joining MTV News in our skybox for a laid-back one-on-one in which he chatted about just how drastically the reaction to "Unbreakable" has changed over the years.
"It was initially hating," he laughed. "If we were hanging out back then, you would have heard: 'Oh, "Unbreakable" sucks! "Unbreakable" sucks!' You just hear them openly going at me about it. And then as time went on you hear them say, 'I know some people didn't like it, but I really loved it.' So it's a transition. It's almost like stages of mourning. Then you get to the place like four years later where people start running across traffic when I get out of a car -- you hear like tires screech actually happens -- and then people come running and be like, '"Unbreakable" is my favorite movie of all time! Wait right here; I'm going to buy a DVD. I'm like, 'I can't just stand in the parking lot while you go buy a DVD, but I appreciate it.'"
He continues: "It's almost like the group that didn't get the movie, or was disappointed that it wasn't a scary movie, got quiet, and the group that loved the movie, who was very quiet, became vocal. And now they run the show."
So does this mean Night will reassess his position on making that long-awaited "Unbreakable" sequel? While he won't give a definitive answer, we're hoping this weekend's outpouring of love for the film will provide him with some seriously "Unbreakable" incentive.
Are you one of the diehard "Unbreakable" fans who's itching for a sequel? Let us know in the comments

Lady Gaga, Beyonce Among Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women
First lady Michelle Obama takes top spot on list, which also includes Oprah and Sarah Palin.
By Mawuse Ziegbe
Lady Gaga has notched another milestone on her road to global pop-culture domination. The 24-year-old singer was recently named one of Forbes magazine's World's 100 Most Powerful Women list alongside CEOs, heads of state and media phenoms like herself.
Gaga took the #7 slot on the list, which was unveiled Wednesday (October 6), behind women such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and first lady Michelle Obama, who was named the most powerful woman on the planet (and is the first African-American to top the list). Gaga was the second-most powerful entertainer in the rankings, coming in behind Oprah, who clocked in at #3.
Other powerful ladies include Gaga's "Telephone" collaborator Beyoncé (#9), talk-show host and former "American Idol" judge Ellen DeGeneres (#10), author and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (#16) and screen siren and activist Angelina Jolie (#21). Gaga is no novice when it comes to Forbes shout-outs. In June, she debuted at #4 on the magazine's 2010 Celebrity Power List, due to her cash-magnet Monster Ball Tour, $62 million in earnings, Web popularity and deals with companies such as Polaroid and MAC. B was bumped two spots to #2 after raking in $86 million from her world tour, arsenal of endorsement deals and House of Deréon products. Oprah has been a Forbes mainstay, coming in at #1 this year on the Celebrity Power List after ceding the crown to Angelina Jolie the year before. The mogul snatched the top spot back with a nine-figure payday and media conglomerate that includes TV shows, magazines and more.
Perhaps Gaga will wield her hefty worldwide clout to push for her causes. A longtime gay-rights supporter, the entertainer has most recently waged a campaign for the repeal of the U.S. Armed Forces' polarizing "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
What do you think of Gaga making the Forbes list? Sound off in the comments!

Actors, musicians, models and more made their way out to the Plunge Bar at Gansevoort Park Avenue in NYC, NY last night for the official launch party for a new collection of Swatch watches. For the past few decades, Swatch has been producing stylish watches of varying inventive design and this month they have launched their latest creation … the New Gent Swatch watch. Here are some of the photos that were snapped on the red carpet at last night’s Swatch premiere event:
Twilight star Nikki Reed played host of last night’s event and like a good Swatch fan, she was spotted wearing more than one watch on each wrist. As you may know, I am a HUGE fan of Swatch watches (or should I say a BIG FAN of Swatch) and have been for many years. I was so excited when Swatch released their Color Code collection earlier this year … and this New Gent collection seems to be an extension of Swatch‘s love of color. I think it’s so cool that folks are loving and wearing Swatches again … and I understand these new Swatch watches are available in stores now or online HERE. Wee!

'Cast in Metal: Final MTV Interview with Ronnie James Dio
In spring 2009, just as Heaven & Hell (Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio) were getting ready to put out their debut full-length, 'The Devil You Know,' Dio and bassist Geezer Butler sat down in an apartment in New York's East Village to talk about the making of the disc, the sorry state of the [...]
If AC/DC aren't cranking out albums fast enough for you and Rhino Bucket don't get your engine revin,' then check out the new Airbourne album 'No Guts, No Glory.' The second disc by these Aussie/DC obsessives is a feast of sleazy, slammin' rhythms, jagged flesh-cleaving guitars and howled melodic vocals that sound like Angus-and-company on a good day -- which is pretty much any day they pick up their instruments.
Okay, Airbourne don't have a hell of a lot of originality to offer. In addition to AC/DC, maybe there's a little bit of Rose Tattoo and a splash of Black Sabbath, but with 'No Guts, No Glory' they're back in black and ready to kill like that runaway 18-wheeler in the movie 'Maximum Overdrive,' which, of course, was chock full of AC/DC tuneage.
This fall, Airbourne will be playing the second stage of the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival. The tour also features Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Stone Sour, Hellyeah, Halestorm and more. The morning after a long night at the bar, we caught up with guitarist and vocalist Joel O'Keefe to ask him about the creation of 'No Guts, No Glory,' his love of AC/DC and why his band accepts no way but the hard way.

Lindsay Lohan Admits To Failing Drug Test
And THIS is why early discharges from rehab are generally a bad idea {sigh}. Lindsay Lohan confessed on twitter that she had, indeed, failed a drug test.
Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.
TMZ is now reporting that Lindsay actually failed two drug tests. In addition to landing her in jail, this setback could also further derail Lindsay's career, according to TMZ.
Lindsay is now relying on Judge Elden Fox to allow her to leave California to shoot "Inferno" in Louisiana and possibly fly to New York City for "Saturday Night Live."
Here's the problem. Sources connected with the case have been telling TMZ ... if Lindsay were to fail a drug test the judge would probably pull the plug on out-of-state-travel -- a privilege for Lindsay, not a right.
...But all bets are off now that Lindsay has flunked two tests.
And sources close to Lindsay somehow already know the big wigs on "Inferno" are pissed that she may have screwed up again, so flying to Louisiana may be a moot question.
You can't really blame the 'Inferno' producers for being upset. It looks like the best thing for Lindsay at this point is a long-term stay in an inpatient facility that focuses solely on drug abuse (not drug problems and psychiatric problems, which is what the UCLA program did).
This is really just TOO sad.
